Grrrr Amazon
Don't you just hate it when you order something from Amazon sometimes, you get all excited - "Oh I should have my book in a few days" you foolishly think - a few weeks go by and nothing - you keep checking your account to see if it's been dispatched - nothing, and you wait and you wait and then you get an e:mail telling you that it's been delayed a few weeks - "oh well" you think - "I can wait". So you do , you wait and wait and then you get another e:mail to say it has been delayed by at least another 6 weeks - at which point you go to the Amazon website in a fit of fury and cancel the order !
I ordered a copy of "Last Minute Knitted Gifts" at the beginning of JUNE and I received an e:mail last week to tell me it was going to be another 6 weeks - by which time I will have left the country - I'm disappointed. So if anyone knows where I can get hold of a copy of this much talked about book to take away with me - I would be most grateful.
Right rant over ! Happy day everyone

you poor thing! i bought a copy in waterstones in london the other day. i'll look out next time i'm there to see if they have replaced it, or do you have one you could go into and see if they can order it for you? they can normally get it for you in a couple of days. if not let me know and i'll send you mine, i can always replace it. it's really worth it!

I've just used the link I posted earlier & have ordered it from WH Smiths to collect in store + Socks Socks Socks - I need to be cheered up & the only person to do it is me ;-)

Thanks for the tips ladies - unfortunately I think Blueadt that you have managed to snaffle the last copy in the UK !!! No-one seems to have it - Becks if you do come across a copy on your cosmopolitan London wanderings I would love it ! Don't deprive yourself though - I know you love your copy and I would hate for you to be without it especially coming up to Christmas you may need it - nay - I shall just have to be patient and get a willing relative to get me a copy when it becomes available and post it to me. Ah well - she says with a disappointed sigh - poor me !

I have wondered what that book is like, obviously a very popular one which proves that it must be good. However I bought loop d loop after all the hype and was very dissapointed I don't think there is anything in there I would make:(

it will be being reprinted which is why no one has a copy. Becks must have got a copy that W's got before it went out of print. bad planning by the publisher as i would have thought pre christmas is the obvious time to get a book with that title.
