Secret Pal - thank you again

Here is the photo of the lovely goodies my Secret Pal sent me as promised yesterday.

Thank you lovely Secret Pal Posted by Picasa

I am so chuffed with all these bits I want to show them to everyone - I've got friends coming over for lunch today and they are definately going to be treated to a show and tell !

I hope everyone is well today and all those that had to go into London are doing OK.

Do you feel a clapotis coming on?

I may well feel a clapotis coming on - but truth be told I'm a little scared of them - they look a bit complicated and I'm not too good at carefully studying a pattern - still the end result will be lovely I'm sure. I think since my SP has gone to so much effort I should too.

hi becky,
you knit whatever you fancy with that yarn! i really just printed out the pattern because i just finished a mini clapotis (can't remember exactly how much smaller i made it but it certainly wasn't the full sized one, the pattern tells you how to make it smaller at the end) and i love it to pieces. if it helps, it's probably one of the easiest patterns i've ever followed and definitely gets the maximum effect - every time i wear it someone goes ooooo!
but PLEASE knit whatever you fancy with it. i'm sure you'll do it justice, whatever you choose :)
enjoy!

Oh I really fancy a Clapotis - I'm just not sure how good I'd be at doing it - but I think I'll give it a go and see how I get on and if I can't get on with it - I'll do something else - I can't miss out on the Clapotis train !!! I may well get a few more balls of that fabulous yarn you bought me and knit a full size Clapotis - I have seen a couple of them knitted up and they look gorgeous - in fact I may have to buy quite a few more balls of the Noro and do a Clapotis and a traditional scarf as well - I'm a bit of a scarfaholic !

Thank you for encouraging me to do something I wouldn't have otherwise.
